PING Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer – Single Sign-On (SSO) Configuration
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PING IAM Engineer specializing in Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining PING Identity solutions, with a focus on delivering secure and seamless access experiences for our systems and applications.
SSO Solution Design:
Design and architect PING Identity solutions for Single Sign-On (SSO) that align with business requirements and adhere to security best practices.
Develop detailed technical specifications for the implementation of SSO components.
Implementation and Configuration:
Install, configure, and customize PING Identity products, including PING Federate and PING Access.
Implement and configure Single Sign-On solutions for web applications, ensuring a consistent and user-friendly experience.
Implement and manage identity federation to enable secure and seamless access across multiple applications and domains.
Configure and support federation protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
Authentication and Authorization:
Configure authentication mechanisms and policies to ensure secure user access.
Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and fine-grained authorization policies.
Integrate PING Identity solutions with various identity stores, including LDAP, Active Directory, and other directory services.
Collaborate with application owners and developers to integrate SSO into custom applications and services.
Enforce security policies and standards related to IAM and SSO.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Provide expert-level technical support for PING Identity solutions, including issue resolution, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve integration challenges and enhance system reliability.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for PING Identity configurations, processes, and procedures.
Keep documentation up-to-date to reflect changes in the PING Identity environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a PING IAM Engineer with a specific focus on SSO configuration.
In-depth knowledge of PING Identity products, including PING Federate and PING Access.
Strong understanding of SSO concepts, identity federation, and authentication protocols.
Experience with integrating PING Identity solutions into diverse applications and systems.
Familiarity with security standards, compliance requirements, and best practices.
Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and customization.
Relevant certifications in PING Identity or related areas are a plus.
